Finally a new pc!!! I installed bf yesterday and it looks like a totaly different game, i see shadows and the explotions look it has fire in it istead of dust.
Anyway im trying to install the game and get it running with all patches. But where are the patches and what was the right order again? Where are the dl's?

hey jv ! i make the same expierence with bf42 ! amazing what i missed before lol! but anyway - try this ->its from ds forum  http://teamdisciples.com/forums/viewtop ... =19&t=5142 i think it will help you to install all patches and hope you get not in trouble with punkbuster- otherwise post it here - i got probs with pb after installing - it takes time but i solved it ! gumpie

 It looks so much better. But i do have a problem. WHen i click the dl button it says it can not read the file. What to do then?

when i try to dl the 1st patch it says i dont have the right administrator right to save it at the bf folder.

try to save it to your desktop
then run the installer
when done - delete the file from desktop

it seems to work nic, or atleast it downloads. I have installed the patches. i run single player with no problem but when i try multiplayer, just before the game begins it says that BF1942.exe doenst work anymore.

Allright, i have done all the uninstalling and installing. Dl the 1st 2 patches and was able to play online on ds. It showed a weird message that it was not able to open a pb file. When i disconnected and try to play on moongamers it showed the same BF1942.exe doenst work anymore.
