"PunkBusted" seems to have stopped supporting BF1942. The game is not listed on their site anymore... The game has also been removed from EA servers....the end is nigh...
However - there is a fix for the ppl who needs it. Download TanksUpdate (I took it from DS forum - thanks Coddy for the tip)
Just download and unpack the file into the PB dir located in BF1942 folder
